2009 Snowboard Reviews
Even though it is still 100+ degrees here, it's time to start thinking about some pow. There are some great new snowboards out on the market this year and we will be reviewing them for you. As we get the reviews up, we will update the list here.
Transworld Snowboarding has also released their 2009 Good Wood Awards. We have already reviewed the Lib Tech Skate Banana, but we will be adding some more soon.

I have the 2009 Lib tech Skate Banana….easily the best board i have ridden…lots of pop, awesome control, amazing speed, and ridiculous designs…I have the 2009 RIDE Contraband bindings on them too this setup is on of the lightest i have noticed yet….HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOARD!!! all though the price could be reduced a little too make more people get it and so if more people get it then it’ll finally get the recognition it deserves!!!

I am a long time surfer that compairs every board sport to it. Ive always loved mervin manufacturing (lib tech, gnu) and have a few of thier boards. The skate bannana is the most manuverable, snowboard. I feel like i can crank arching turns similar to my surfing. its a dream in powder and even at high speeds you still feel you can go faster and be in control. It truley is a surfers snowboard and worth every dime, you cant go wrong. I also love the pop off hits and the ease of landing smooth through transitions. it feels like a skateboard in the park. cant wait to try it on a half pipe. still discovering more of the sweetness in this board.
