K2 Slayblade

Sure to be one of the hottest selling boards for the 2011 season, the K2 Slayblade won 3 huge awards last year: Transworld Snowboarding's Good Wood, Snowboarder's Best of Test and Snowboarding Magazine's Platinum Pick. This board comes packed with the latest tech from K2 including their Flatline baseline technology, Harshmellow dampening and Hybrilight Construction. This all mountain freestyle board is a bit stiffer and is meant to charge. The flatline base (zero camber) gives the board versatility and stability.
Riders (and pros) love the Slayblade. The board has great carving ability in addition to great stability and a decent amount of pop. The biggest complaint we've heard is that the board dings up easily. Some riders have reported cracks around the Harshmellow inserts. Some riders also report that this board is too stiff for their liking. The K2 Slayblade comes in sizes 153, 156, 158, 159W, 161, 163W, 164 and 166W.

Excellent Board for stomping down the mountain with speed and stability. This is not a park riding freestyle but rather an “all-mountain” Freeride board. Performs well at speed and on the Ice-Coast; not sure about Powder. Love this board and stiff as heck.
