Lib Tech Skate Banana

The Lib Tech Skate Banana was designed to be the ultimate freestyle snowboard. It was designed with a reverse camber. This means that instead of the tip and tail touching the ground when the board lays flat, the board look more like a banana, with the tip and tail up in the air while sitting on the ground - Lib Tech calls this Banana Technology. While this sounds very strange, this board is receiving rave reviews. It has already won a Transworld Snowboarding Good Wood Award for 2009.

Snowboarders generally love the Lib Tech Skate Banana. People report it floats in powder much like the Burton Fish. It also has a very low spin weight making it great on boxes and rails. Magnetraction technology gives it excellent edge hold on both ice and hard pack. Groomers are supposed to also ride very well, there is a lot lower chance of catching an edge with the reverse camber. The one complaint we have heard is that the board can get a little sketchy when landing a big jump. The Lib Tech Skate Banana comes in sizes 148, 151, 152, 156 and 159.
