Ride Machete

The Ride Machete is an all mountain freestyle snowboard with a LowRize rocker and twin shaped deck. This board features a Pop Rods wooden core and Fusion 4000 sintered base with carbon rods in both the tail and nose. This allows an easy pop from the Ride Machete without creating any stiffness. This wooden core is ideal for any maneuver and freestyle snowboarding. Both the top and base of the Ride Machete snowboard have a biaxial glass inside, increasing torsional snap and stiffness. The biaxial top and bottom of the deck allows for better control and a great ride. The edges of the Ride Machete also contain 50% more steel than edges on other boards, which gives you the ultimate resistance to edge cracking and gives you a better turning radius for tricks and carving. Skate-inspired sidewalls of the Ride Machette, which Ride calls Slimewalls, absorb maximum impact and as an added design bonus, allow your board to glow in the dark. The Ride Machete is available in sizes 152, 155, 158, 160 and 162 cm. A wide version is also available in 154, 157, 161 and 164 cm.

The majority of reviewers for the Ride Machete agree that this board is best for all mountain carving and trick snowboarding. Many claimed the Ride Machete had an excellent carving ability and was well-balanced and extremely stable. One reviewer compared the Ride Machete to other boards as how a Porsche would stack up to other cars. Most reviewers were impressed with the ability to handle in all terrains. A few reviewers claimed the board was almost too stiff, but each of these reviewers stated the Ride Machete provided enough pop and durability to make up for the extra stiffness.
