Rossignol Jones

The Rossignol Jones Snowboard is the brainchild of Rossignol and Jeremy Jones, providing a big mountain snowboard with super-responsive control. The split second response of the Jones is obtained through the use of a wood core that has been wrapped in both carbon fiber and Kevlar for the perfect torsional stiffness and responsive pop. The sintered base is ideal for the steeps on any mountain and the progressive tip and directional shape keep the Jones afloat in any depth of powder. The flex pattern for freeriding gives more control than most big mountain boards and initiates quick and responsive turns. The soft flex in the tail smoothes these big turns out nicely.

The Rossignol Jones does exactly as it promises and provides a highly respected big mountain freeride board. The conventional shape floats extremely well and is set farther back than most would expect for the style. While it is built for deep powder and steep runs, it performs equally well on almost any other surface. The Jones is one of the fastest boards on the market, actually making it hard to put in the sharper turns of a mogul or to keep from straightlining a downhill on-piste. The Rossignol Jones comes in both regular and wide sizes: 158, 162, 163W, 166, 167W and 169.
