Salomon Prospect

Salomon Prospect

The Salomon Prospect Snowboard is crafted for use primarily in half pipes and parks. The board is crafted with a soft flex for easy nose presses and a P-Tex sintered base for speed-driven rides through the park. The aspen wood core dampens the ride while providing a steady, consistent flex throughout its length. The sidewall rubber construction provides enhanced edge control while both softening landings and minimizing damage and impact from rail hits. The thinned tail and nose cut back on excess swing weight to ensure fast spins and quick response for maneuvers.

The Salomon Prospect performs wonderfully on almost any park or pipe surface, with just the right flex for rails and enough pop for any kickers. Not only does it handle well in the park, it can take on the groomers or the trees, holding its edge on ice better than one would expect for a freestyle board. It floats in powder decently well and can handle most turns, though some toe drag is to be expected. Anyone looking for an all-mountain freestyle board should look at the Prospect. Sizes available include: 149, 152, 156, 159 and 163cm and the Prospect comes in both a standard edition (pictured) and an LTD model.
